WaterBottle ("we", "our", "the app") is a platform for managing 20L water bottle delivery businesses, used by suppliers, their delivery staff, and their customers. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
- Business data: for suppliers — business name, address, staff and route assignments, customer lists, billing and payment records, and bottle delivery/return counts (the jar ledger).
- Customer data: delivery address, subscription details, bottle balance, invoices, and payment history.
- Usage data: basic app diagnostics and crash logs to help us fix bugs.
- Advertising: the app displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
How we use this information
- To operate core app functionality — logins, delivery tracking, billing, and reporting.
- To let suppliers manage their own customers and staff (each supplier's data is kept separate from other suppliers').
- To send account-related notifications (e.g. delivery confirmations, payment receipts).
- To show relevant ads and measure ad performance.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only:
- Within your own supplier's account (e.g. a customer's delivery data is visible to their supplier and assigned delivery staff, not to other suppliers).
- With service providers who help us run the app (hosting, ad serving) under standard confidentiality terms.
- When required by law.
Data retention
We retain account and business data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us below.
Your choices
- You can update your profile information from within the app.
- You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing us.
Children's privacy
WaterBottle is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
